The Aero Show India 2009 was a spectacular even held of that genre in India, not to mention there was no major accident during the show and the response of the show was really great. Banglore was having all its crowd out for the day as people were visiting Aero show in the morning and it was ‘Iron Maiden’ concert in the evening, 15-Feb marked B’lore as the place to be.
The week long Aero India had dedicated air shows too which displayed the varying flight capabilities of the military power of the distinctive air forces. The major part of the show was the open house of major flight companies which invited 200 majors around the world displaying their best.
My personal favourite was Lockhead Martin’s F16. There were loads of fighters, Sukhoi, MiG, F35, Griphen, and lot more. The air show was mind blowing as this was the first time I saw a F16 fly just 200 ft above my head in Mach2, the show was exciting. Unfortunately F16 also had a flat tyre while making its landing, but the pilot managed to taxi it safely.
I should really mention the show stopper an eagle which was also displaying its flight capability over the runway, everyone applauded for the eagle then it was made to scatter by the gun shots.
For those who missed the air show stay tuned for Aero India 2011.
